Manager training for the managers you promoted.
Our Manager Enablement Series is a progressive, in-person learning programme for agencies and scaling businesses. Across six modules bespoke to your business, your managers get clarity on how you lead here and what they own, with reflection, accountability and coaching on their real situations throughout, so people issues stop landing with founders.
What is a manager enablement series?
A manager enablement series is a progressive learning programme that builds management capability over time, rather than in a single training day. Each session builds on the last, with reflection, accountability and coaching in between, so managers apply what they learn to the real people situations in front of them.
Six modules, bespoke to your business.
Every series is shaped around your business, your managers and the challenges they face. These are our most popular modules.
How we lead here
Clarity on where the business is going, what it needs from its managers, and what good leadership looks like at your business.
Balancing care and commercial reality
Supporting people well while delivering for the business, and making decisions that do both.
Leadership styles
Understanding your own style, and how to adapt it to different people and situations.
Brave conversations
The confidence and structure to have the conversations managers tend to put off.
Feedback as a gift
Giving and receiving feedback regularly, so it becomes part of the culture rather than an annual event.
A manager's role in the employee lifecycle
What managers own, from hiring and onboarding to performance, development and exits, and where HR comes in.
Designed with your business, not off the shelf.
Strategy session
We start with your leadership team to define what great management looks like at your business and what the series needs to achieve.
Manager focus groups
We meet a select group of your managers to understand their real challenges, and shape the content around them.
Progressive sessions
We deliver the series in person, module by module, to groups of up to 15 managers, with reflections and accountability built in between every session.
Coaching as they learn
Managers bring live situations to each session, and we coach them through so the learning sticks in practice.
Feedback and progress
We gather feedback throughout and show your leadership team the progress your managers have made.
The most talked-about training they've ever run.
Managers who put their learning into practice, a difference the leadership team can see, and two further programmes commissioned.
Our managers have never been so engaged. It's the most talked-about training we've ever run, and the difference is being seen and felt by our C-suite. The team have taken what they learned straight into practice, and the data shows they're now clear on how we manage at our agency. It's given us real insight and learning. Georgia's understanding of agencies is what makes it work so well, and we've since invested in two further programmes with Access HR.
Manager training, answered.
What is a manager enablement series?
A progressive learning programme that builds management capability over a series of sessions, with reflection, accountability and coaching in between, rather than a one-off training day.
What does the series cover?
Six modules, shaped around your business. Our most popular are how we lead here, balancing care and commercial reality, leadership styles, brave conversations, feedback as a gift, and a manager's role in the employee lifecycle, with coaching on real situations throughout.
How is it different from one-off manager training?
It is built around your business from a strategy session and manager focus groups, delivered progressively, and supported by accountability and coaching between sessions, so managers change how they lead rather than just attend a course.
Who is it for?
First-time managers, team leads stepping up, and experienced managers who have never had formal training, particularly in agencies and fast-growing businesses.
How do you measure progress?
We gather feedback from managers throughout the series and share their progress with your leadership team, so you can see the difference it is making.
Is the series delivered in person or online?
In person only, with groups of up to 15 managers. We have delivered it remotely before, and it doesn't have the same impact. Being in the room is what makes the reflection, challenge and coaching work.
Is the series part of fractional HR?
No. The Manager Enablement Series is a one-off project, booked separately from our Fractional HR and HR support for in-house teams. It works alongside either, or on its own.
Turn great individuals into great managers.
Delivered in person as a standalone project, for groups of up to 15 managers.
